Welcome to http://thesociallife.com (the “Site”). The Site is comprised of various web pages and is owned and operated by The Social Life and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively referred to herein as “The Social Life,” “we,” “us” and “our”).
Please review the following terms and conditions that govern your use of, and purchase of, products from our Site. Please note that your use of our Site constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by those terms and conditions (the “Agreement”). Your acceptance of the Agreement provides you with a limited and temporary license and permission to use the software and other resources of the Site, which license and permission we may revoke at any time.
A copy of the Return Policy that applies to the purchase of products through this Site is located at http://thesociallife.com/returns. We may update the Return Policy from time to time in our sole discretion, and post an updated version of the notice at the website address provided above. The terms and conditions of our Return Policy are incorporated herein and made a part of this Agreement.
Shipping, Processing, & Delivery
Our shipping and processing charges are intended to compensate our company for the cost of processing your order, handling and packing the products you purchase and delivering them to you. Sales tax will be charged on all orders in accordance with the tax laws of city and state of delivery. International customers are responsible for customs duties and/or brokerage fees in addition to shipping costs assessed during checkout.
Orders will not ship until they are paid in full, including any additional charges for customer requests to change the shipping service or provider.
Turnaround Time for Custom Orders
Turnaround time for all custom orders is 10 business days from the date the order is “Approved”. Completion of ALL of following tasks and events constitutes an order being Approved:
- Customer must approve final artwork proofs in writing (via email)
- Customer must approve final size breakdown for the order in writing (via email)
- The order must be paid in full
- The blank garments for the order must be delivered to our California production facility by the blank garment provider
PLEASE NOTE: We will not order any blank garments until final artwork and size-breakdowns are approved in writing (via email), and the order is paid in full. Some blank garments take more than 5 business days to arrive to us from the blank garment providers. Please keep in mind that the 10-business-day turnaround does not begin until we receive the blank garments to our production facility in California.
Orders will be delivered by the due date provided to us by the customer as long as it is 10 business days from the date the order is Approved.
If the order due date is less than 10 business days from the date the order is Approved, we will still make every effort to deliver your order by the due date you provide. However, at our discretion, a $50 rush fee may be applied to any orders requiring a turnaround time of less than 10 business days. If the rush fee is not paid, The Social Life is not liable for orders that arrive after the order due date.
Even if a rush fee is paid, or shipping method is upgraded by the customer, order delivery is still subject to UPS transit time. Please reference the map below. These are estimated shipping times, not exact shipping times.
Shipping for customer orders
For orders less than 50 pieces, standard shipping and processing charges will apply. We offer free shipping on custom orders over 50 pieces. Unless the customer requests otherwise, all custom orders will be shipped via UPS Ground or a comparable shipping service from another shipping provider. At our discretion, we may ship any order via the shipping provider and service of our choice. The customer is responsible for any additional fees resulting from their request to change the shipping method or provider.
Shipping for individual orders
Purchased items will be shipped within 7 business days of the order, although most will be within 3 to 4. Please allow up to 2 weeks for your order to arrive. If you still have not received your purchase after 3 weeks, please notify email@example.com. Unless the customer requests otherwise, all individual orders will be shipped via USPS First Class or Priority mail, or a comparable shipping service from another shipping provider. At our discretion, we may ship any order via the shipping provider and service of our choice. The customer is responsible for any additional fees resulting from their request to change the shipping method or provider.
We advise that the following garment care instructions be followed for any product purchased from The Social Life:
Turn garment inside out before washing. Machine wash cold separately. Some colors may bleed. Never bleach. Tumble dry low. Never iron over decorations, Any items with embroidery or a pattern fabric should be dry cleaned. These fabrics have too thin of a weave to sustain a washing machine, even if turned inside out.
**Any product with specialty inks such as glitter, metallic, foil, and other non-standard inks should be AIR-DRIED.
