The Best All-Natural Beauty Brands That Actually Work!
As a generation, we’ve become more active in researching different brands and products that we use on the daily. Luckily for us, there has been a huge rise in vegan and eco-friendly brands in the last decade. The best part? These brands made it affordable and easy to get clean products that help the environment AND your skin. But with so many products to choose from, it’s difficult to know which ones work and deliver results. Luckily, I’ve tested plenty of these products - and these are the best of the best. Whether it’s a shopping splurge or one product, be sure to try these brands next time you’re looking for beauty products!
Kopari Beauty
One of my absolute favorite brands is Kopari Beauty. I was first exposed to them through their line of chapsticks called Coconut Lip Glossy and instantly loved the smooth feeling and look on my lips. All of Kopari’s products are coconut-based and sustainably sourced from families in the Philippines. All of their products are vegan as well as paraben, sulfate and phthalate, and cruelty-free! One of their best-selling products is the Coconut Deo, a natural deodorant that leaves you smelling sweet and fresh even after you’ve hit the gym - I already tested it for you. Other products include moisturizers, cleansers, and even a line of CBD skincare.
Love, Beauty + Planet
One of the best things about the brand Love, Beauty and Planet is that they’re available at your neighborhood drug stores like CVS or Walmart! They come with a range of products that have different natural ingredients that target various hair types and needs. The brand boasts that all of their products are vegan and cruelty-free. Personally, I like to use their combination of Argan Oil and Lavender (which smooths and tames frizzy hair) or Coconut Water and Mimosa Flower (which hydrates and strengthens hair). They’re starting to branch out to other products, like hair oils and deodorants. Love, Beauty and Planet has a product for every hair type and the natural scents leave your hair and body smelling great for days.
Lush
A cult favorite and one of the original brands that focused on sustainable and healthy products. Today, they are known for their minimal packaging and stores, and especially their infamous bath bombs. But - both online and in-store - Lush offers tons of different products that are some of the best on the market. Face masks, lotions, and even perfumes are available on their website. However, part of the appeal for their brand is the stores and the experience they offer. Employees will do bath bomb demonstrations when asked and they’ll let you test the products! Lush is cruelty-free, vegetarian, handmade, and buys its ingredients from ethical sources. There is no downside to supporting this brand and you can experiment with all of the products they have to offer. Some of the best-reviewed products are Happy Hippy Shower Gel, Lip Scrubs, and Balms (literally any of these), Tea Tree Water Toner, and Dream Cream Body Lotion.
The Ordinary
A brand that’s been on the rise is The Ordinary, which specializes in serums and oils meant to clean and clear your skin. It’s been praised for its restorative powers - while also maintaining a low price point for its consumers! Most of their products are easily under $10 and last for a lifetime. On each product’s page, there is a detailed list of what the individual serums contain, like alcohol, nut, gluten silicone, oil, and more. However, ALL of their products are free of parabens, sulfates, mineral oil, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone, animal oils, coal tar dyes, formaldehyde, mercury, and oxybenzone. Additionally, they do not sell anything in mainland China, which means they do not test on animals in any way, shape, or form. Some of their best-reviewed products are the hyaluronic acid + B5 (for dehydrated skin), AHA + BHA Peeling Solution (for skin appearance and texture), Niacinamide + Zinc (balancing oily skin), and Caffeine Solution + EGCG (perfect for puffy under eyes).
Acure
If you’re looking for a simple skincare line, Acure is the place to go. Simple and sweet products that don’t irritate the skin. All products do not contain parabens, sulfates, formaldehyde, paraffin, mineral oil, or animal testing! These products are affordable and worth the price due to the larger packaging. You can find this brand at stores like Target or Walmart. Their moisturizer (Incredibly Clear Mattifying Moisturizer) applies on the skin without feeling heavy or residual. Highlighted as a completely organic brand, Acure is a solid line of skincare for someone who may not know too much about skincare. These products are gentle and easy to use, which makes building a regimen easy and fun.
